Grove Scholarship Renewal Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for the Grove Scholars Program! 

We congratulate you on your previous participation in the Grove Scholars Program.  Scholarship Renewal is not automatic. 

In order to give you the best chance at being selected for this scholarship, we recommend that you double check that you meet the eligibility requirements listed below.  We also recommend that you write your responses to the four essay questions on a separate document, so that you can make sure that they are under the 2,000 character limit before you copy/paste the responses into the space provided.


This renewal application is only for students who have been awarded the Grove Scholarship in the past.  If you have never been awarded the Grove Scholarship, please review the Grove Scholars website and submit the standard Grove Scholars Application. 

To qualify and be considered for the renewal application, you will need to complete the following requirements: 

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for the 2025-2026 academic year (if you have not done so).
  • To be awarded this scholarship, applicants must have at least $2,000 of unmet need. Contact us if you have questions about your unmet need.
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.0 along with a 75% completion rate. 
  • Maintain full-time enrollment at Skyline College. 
  • Meet with a counselor to complete a Student Education Plan (SEP) that includes the application semester.
