Professional Development Academy Spring 2017

The Office of Human Resources in collaboration with Community, Continuing and Corporate Education has developed a series of professional development opportunities based on a professional development survey administered in 2015, as well as 2016 feedback and survey results.

The Professional Development Academy will have two series of courses this Spring. The first series of courses include the Management Series, and the second series include the Staff Training and Professional Development courses. Due to limited space, the Management Series is limited to managers/administrators or employees interested in becoming a manager.  All employees are welcome to attend the Staff Training and Professional Development Series.

Classified employees are allowed to take a course as part of the regular work day with the approval of their managers. Because of the importance of professional development, all managers have been strongly encouraged to give their approval.

If you have specific questions about the workshops, please contact Jonathan Bissell, CCCE Executive Director at bissellj@smccd.edu. For questions about the Professional Development Academy, please contact Cassandra Jackson, Human Resources Manager at jacksonc@smccd.edu

Please provide your first name, last name, email, job title, and campus location.
